Download our fact sheet for more details and contact your legislator to encourage them to support our bill!

Please contact your local State Representatives and ask them to pass the Hunger Free Campus Initiative before the end of December 2022. The Hunger Free Campus Initiative was adopted by the Massachusetts Senate in July – with unanimous consent! The Initiative is Outside Section 5A in the Senate’s Economic Development package. But we need the House members to agree to the Senate language when they pass the Economic Development bill this fall.

Contact your State Rep by phone, email, social media and urge them to support the Senate’s Hunger Free Campus Initiative in the Economic Development package.  Also, please contact your State Senator to thank them for including the Hunger Free Campus Initiative in the Senate bill and urge them to fight for it in the final bill. Go to Find My Legislator for info on who to contact.

Want to join the coalition? Looking to start a Hunger-Free Campus chapter on your campus? Contact Kate Adams (kadams@gbfb.org) and Laura Sylvester (lauras@foodbankwma.org) to learn more.
