This December, we need your help to urge the legislature to pass the Hunger Free Campus Initiative during the informal session before the end of 2022. Find your State Senator and Representative’s info here.
S.2811/H.4697 creates the Massachusetts Hunger-Free Campus Initiative, which provides targeted resources to public colleges and universities and private institutions that disproportionately serve low-income students to enable them to help students complete college by expanding successful anti-hunger initiatives on their campuses.

College student hunger was a problem before the COVID-19 pandemic, and it will continue to be an issue unless systemic changes are made. Support S.2811/H.4697! @CollegeHungerMA
37% of public university students in MA are food insecure. To ensure colleges and universities have the capacity to address food insecurity on campus, we need to pass the #HungerFreeCampus Initiative now!
