Last month, our Hunger Free Campus Coalition (HFCC) brought our expertise to the National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference hosted annually by Feeding America and the Food and Research Action Center (FRAC). Coalition leaders presented on the issue of college hunger nationally and shared best practices from lessons learned in Massachusetts. Catherine Lynn, co-lead of HFCC and VP at The Greater Boston Food Bank, moderated a conversation with HFCC members:

  • Laura Martinez, Current Georgetown University grad student, former Worcester State University and Quinsigamond Community College student with food insecurity lived expertise
  • Kathleen O’Neill, Bunker Hill Community College Single Point of Contact
  • Dr. Christina Royal, Holyoke Community College President
